Please read this page carefully before filling out financial aid application.
Camper must be registered with the $80 registration fee paid prior to submitting the financial assistance application. Please note, the $80 registration fee will be refunded only to those applicants qualifying for full scholarships.
After completing the online financial assistant application, the following documents must be submitted to us in order for your application to be process. Delay in receiving the following documents will hamper the process of your application.
- Completed Camp Registration Application (One per child)
- $80 registration fee paid in full (one per child, $10 discount for sibling(s))
- Proof of Income (paystub, SSI award letter, DSS award letter, etc.)
- Copy of your IRS Form 1040 or W2 for 2018
- A letter from a community service provider(teacher, advocate, physician) or family member, expressing the reasons why financial assistance or scholarship funding is needed.

Deadline to receive all required supporting documentation in our office is May 10, 2019. Supporting documents received after that date will cause application not be processed and financial/scholarship assistance will not be granted.
Camp Trusted Parents financial assistance and scholarship funding is limited and eligibility is granted according to the NC Division of Social Services Food and Nutrition Eligibility Guidelines. Due to limited funding, we cannot award financial assistance or scholarships to everyone. If we are unable to award you assistance and you choose to withdraw your child from our program, due to the inability to pay, your registration fee will be refunded to you minus a 30% processing fee. (Please review cancellation policy).
The Financial Aid committee will review applications and the decision concerning who will be awarded funding will be completed by May 24, 2019. Recipients will be notified by email (or letter) of the amount awarded. Balances (if any) will be due by June 1, 2019. If the total tuition exceeds more than can be (with administration approval) half of the tuition balance will be due by June 1, and the remaining balance will be divided into equal weekly payments, due every Friday. If half the tuition cannot be made by June 1, it could result in the camper being withdrawn from the program. Also, please understand that financial aid and scholarship awards are not transferable to another person, child, or session.
