Camp Trusted Parents

Camp Explore

Over the years, as our campers began to age out of our camp program, parents frequently shared their concerns with us about finding a summer camp program that will transition their child(ren) into adult living. Camp Explore is an extension of Camp Trusted Parents created for our senior campers about community social skills, independent living skills, and job training.

As a new program initiative for our senior campers, ages 18-22, transitioning out of Camp Trusted Parents, we have implemented a new curriculum just for them. This program incorporates leisure education and pre-vocational opportunities through community volunteer service and recreation participation. Participants will be given the opportunity to develop lifetime leisure skills and learn job skills by volunteering with campus affiliates and organizers.
