Workshops Description

Our workshops are available to educators and community professionals serving families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who are interested in providing a forum for parents, staff, or the public to come and learn. We offer information on how to be an effective partner and advocate for those affected with disabilities.

We welcome organizations, schools, churches, and agencies to contact us to help raise awareness about educational strategies, laws, and resources that are put in place to support parents caring for children with special healthcare needs.

Fees may apply to agencies and businesses that require our service in providing workshops to their audiences. If an agency is located outside of Mecklenburg county, Trusted Parents have the ability to facilitate workshops and trainings; however, fees may apply for intellectual property, time, travel, mileage, and lodging accommodations, if needed.

In-person and/or virtually workshop will only be scheduled for groups of 4 or more participants.
